I’m Lindsey, and I love to bake….

Full time mum to Ben, “hooman” to Pixar the Labradoodle,  better half to my partner to Tony and in-between all that I love to bake and cook.

I’ve always loved to bake and cook from a young age, one of my earliest memories was baking for Sunday School coffee morning every month and then for my local theatre company and it went from there.

For years I’ve been asked to start selling my baking and I’ve always said I didn’t want my hobby to become a job as I would stop enjoying it. Until COVID when I was baking all the time to fill the time. To take treats to isolating friends and family… and suddenly realised why not do the thing I love as a job…. And L of a Bake was born.

All of my bakes are small batch, deep filled, hand-made and baked using high quality ingredients; real Belgian chocolate, free range eggs and British butter. Rich, indulgent and full of flavour.
